How can i get my hp laptop to run on electric

It should have come with a long black box with a cable at each end. One goes to the electricity outlet on your wall and the other goes to the laptop.

Put the make and model into a search at e-Bay or Amazon and see what shows up as the right piece of equipment you can buy. Don't go for the cheapest - they may not be proper original manufacturer's equipment.
