Question how do fix my audio interface not working

i recently bought a new audio interface and it worked for a week and then now it wont work, i have been recording using my electric acoustic guitar and it worked fine and then one day i unplugged it because i was gonna play a game on my pc and i needed to use a mic so trhe next day i tried to record my guitar on a daw and it wont work like my audio interface is on and when i tap the chord that plugs into the guitar it shows its working my showing the clipping light but when i try to record it wont work like i dont know
