How can I mirror a lg phone to a element tv?

I'm trying to figure out how to mirror my lg phone to a element tv, but there's no show of mirroring in the settings. I've looked in the settings on my tv, but I can't find anything. Ive heard about getting a chromestick or a hdmi cord hooked up to my phone.

Is your Element a Smart TV? What is the brand of your phone? Are both connected to Internet? What you're trying to do actually?

Some phones support MHL - a special cable with HDMI in one end (TV), and microUSB on the other (phone).

I try get hook on my phone to tv useing USB cord I just have internet on phone

Your make and model of phone has to support MHL to connect it with an adapter cable to the TV,
