How can i retrieve my contacts from a lg pgone that wad accidently dropped on water

How can i retrieve contact from lg phone that was accidently dropped in water?
I have tried on and volume for a couple of minutes and nothing. Can someone suggest something.

To have had a decent shot at recovery, you should have removed the back and immersed the phone in a pile of uncooked rice to soak up all the liquid. It may not be too late to try that.

Log into your G-Mail on your PC and you may be able to find Contacts but if you buy another phone, they may show up when you use your Google account.
