If it's an apple, use another device to get the "Find my iPhone" app, then when you log into your apple account, it will show you where your devices are.

Contact your wireless carrier for assistance. Unless you had a location app/service installed and working, before the loss, the phone is likely gone forever. We can't help otherwise.
