There are video cards with HDMI inputs but they don't support HDCP and so may not work with your DVD recorder.

If you use HDMI for you PC then you can get an HDMI input selector for your monitor. If you don't use HDMI for your PC then get a monitor with an HDMI input and use that for your DVD recorder.
