not very good, in fact very bad. the 820M is probably worse than the built in gpu.

It's a laptop, unless you are spending $2K it'll be rubbish.

wrong, it takes about $850 to get something really decent.

OP what is your budget and where are you from?

The ASUS X550LN is a better deal, it's cheaper by $200 and does better than the CX61. It's got a DDR5 GT 840M, much better than the 820M. And although, it doesn't have an i7, i5's are already plenty for gaming. If 4 GBs of RAM isn't enough for you, just upgrade it to 8GB 1866mhz or better RAM with the saved $200. If I were you I'd go with the i5 X550LN, paying an extra $200 just isn't worth an i7 and 4 more GBs of ram. Replacing the ram's not so costly and is an easy DIY task, just take off the pre-loaded ram (green rectangular sticks with 8 black squares) and insert the new ones into the ports and push them down.

well some people just need the portability. Not everyone's life style fits into just sitting in one place - some people actually have to move.
