How do i apply for mod?

Hello! I wanted to see how can I apply for moderator


( Im not doing this job for $$ lol )

But how do I apply for a job? I want to help others!

You can always help others without being a moderator.

Moderators positions are created if/when there is a need to add them. Candidates are elected based on experience, quality of posts, temperament, and length of service to the forums. I was a long time member of these forums (Tom's Guide/Hardware) before I was even considered a candidate to be a moderator.
