How do I connect a LG tv to dvd/vhs recorder?

How do I connect a new 32" LG led TV to an old Panasonic DVD/VHS model DMR-E75V? Anyone kind enough to answer please be very specific. I'm very technically challenged and have difficulty with a light switch. WALLY by name & nature.

Yes it's a LG32LH604V 32" LED TV. The TV manual (if you can call it that) is useless, but I do have the manual for the video recorder.

This isn't your exact model but this is the best diagram I could find.

The Panasonic has component video out (red/blue/green) ports in the middle of the set. You connect them to the TV and use the red/white on the bottom row (in the same box as the red/blue/green) for audio.
