Where do I go, on my PC to find the version of PocketPc that was updated onto my laptop?

If so, then you should be able to go to the dropdown 'HELP' menu and select 'ABOUT'.

pocketpc was an application to access handheld devices such as the PALM etc. REF: https/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocket_PC
to know what version of software your running, you need to start it, goto help and select about.

the question I have is WHAT pocketpc do you own?

So confused, I know of pocket PCs, what I haven't dealt with is it on a computer. I have never needed special software to access one from a computer. That is where I got lost.
