How do I get my VCR to record the AUX channel?

My VCR has doesn't show an AUX channel, but I want to to record the Aux channel. What do I do?

I'm trying to get my VCR to record from my computer hooked up to a HDMI2AV adaptor I have it hooked to the VCR's RCA input (the VCR is connected to a CRT TV) but I'm not getting anything on my VCR, it works if I just hook the HDMI2AV straight to my CRT tv but I can't record anything if my VCR isn't picking it up.

Do you have the PC output set to 480p or 480i? VCRs have VERY limited range of resolution they will accept.

I tried that, I still have no idea what channel to set the VCR to, I don't see anything on all the channels I flipped through.

If you are connected to the RCA inputs of the VCR, you shouldn't have to select a channel. What is the model of the VCR so I can look up a user's manual?

It's a Magnavox VR1841AT01

I can't find a manual for your model on the internet. I am afraid I can't help you any more since I don't know that model of VCR.

You need to select the Line AV input on the VCR that you connected the adapter to.
Other Magnavox VCRs have an input button on the remote that switches between the tuner and line inputs. .

A remote is probably the solution, I don't have one though. I fixed up another VCR that doesn't require a remote to get the line AV channels, so I'm just gonna say this is solved.
