I just replaced the battery to my ASUS X205T laptop. The battery already had some "juice on board" and the computer came on with no problem. However, the battery will not charge. It is just working on the power it came with.
If I plug in the power adaptor when the computer is off the light blinked orange initially, but after I turned the computer off and then on again it became green but still not charging.
The issue is with the new battery? Could be a bad battery or the charging circuit is bad. Try leaving it connected overnight see if it starts to charger after that.
Does the laptop run fine on the old battery with wall power? Does it run on the wall power with the new battery but just does not charge?
