How do I get sound from my nose accousticmass 5 to tv

Well then your DVD hookup is wrong, or you must select the correct input. How does the DVD hooks up to the receiver? If you hooked up the DVD directly to the TV you have 2 options:

1. Hook up DVD to receiver instead with HDMI, if receiver has HDMI.

2. If receiver has no HDMI, then DVD (HDMI) to TV, then a second cable, likely optical DVD --> Receiver.
