How do I get the screen fit option on my TV?

I own a Samsung TV. I'm watching a show at the time of making this thread. During the opening credits, some of the credits are cut off by the edge of my tv. For instance, "Executive Producer" becomes "ive Producer" with the last two letters of his/her first name and their whole last name underneath. A speaker during a commercial has a third of their face cut out. I see a Screen Fit option on my tv menu, but it's greyed out. How do I access it?

Seems more like your screen is zoomed in. Check for a Zoom feature in your menu.

i don't think that's what's causing it. It's set to the 16:9 ratio.
