I have been trying add weather updates directly on my lock screen on Android. I heard theres some widgets you can use but I’m not sure how to set it up . Is it something I need to download or it is already in my phone?

Most Android phones, including yours, already have a built-in weather feature. Сheck if it's available in the stock Clock or Weather app before downloading third-party widgets. While widgets can work, they often drain battery and clutter your lock screen. For a cleaner solution, try adding weather updates via your lock screen settings (look under "Always-on Display" or similar). If that doesn’t work, reliable apps like Google Weather integrate seamlessly without being too resource-heavy

To add a weather widget to your lock screen on Android:
  1. Unlock your phone and go to the home screen.
  2. Tap and hold an empty space, then select "Widgets."
  3. Find the weather widget and drag it to your home screen.
  4. For lock screen access, go to your phone’s settings > "Lock screen" > "Widgets" and enable the weather widget.
This will display weather information on your lock screen.
