How do i hook up an RCA RTS7010B soundbar to my tv?

I have av cables hooked to my tv from the soundbar but no sound even with the internal speakers on my tv shut down. Any suggestions?

If the soundbar has multiple inputs did you select the right one? Are your cables to the right ports on the TV (meaning audio out not in),
