You should then be able to open the folder up and then show you the images. Then you can better ascertain if it is the pictures that are the problem, or your app, or even the camera taking the pictures.

Doesn't really matter if it has a gallery or not to be able to view them from a computer. You just need to locate the folder that your device is saving the files in and then move them over to a folder on the computer.
