How do I permanently disable captions on Netflix for iPad Air?

I never want captions automatically on for Netflix on my iPad Air! How do I permanently prevent captions from appearing ever again on my iPad Air?

You can toggle subtitles at any time during a video. There is a button for it on the screen interface, usually right next to the volume button/bar. Your subtitle preferences should be saved automatically and carry over from video to video.
