How do I reboot a Toshiba satellite laptop after replacing the hard drive?

What password is it asking for? BIOS, Windows, something else?
Did you install an OS on this new drive?

Could be the system is locked down to only the old drive, or if its not BIOS, could be the "new" drive already contains an OS which has something like Bitlocker enabled. Is the drive brand new or just a replacement from existing stock ? Was/is the laptop a corporate sourced one ?

I'm not sure...replaced hard drive and I think it might be a BIos?

If its a BIOS password, it was there before this drive change.
