how do i start my recovery disk

i have a product recovery disk and i want to use it how do i do this i have a toshiba satillite l450d 113

If there's any life in the machine, you should see an option on the first screen after powering up. A Function key for "Recovery" or "Factory Restore" is what you're looking for.

t will almost certainly wipe all your personal files, pictures, music etc. so you might wish to put those into another place first.
