Not sure that I understand your question per se.

The gaming website will be looking for a particular folder and file. The game site does not know the physical nature of the hosting device.

If you can download your "king games and scores" data to a folder and file on the laptop then simply that copy that same file to the applicable desktop folder then all should be well.

Otherwise more information is needed.
