How do I transfer photos from my Android smartphone to my computer?

How can I start to transfer photos from my Cellular Galaxy to my Notebook? Kies air show me the number above ? What can I do now? Tks

Plug in the phone to the PC using a USB cord, the phone storage should come up as a drive letter on the PC. May need to install driver or synching software that came with the phone if that does not work.
