How do I upload pics and music from sd card to my Asus zenfone 2?

So you are wanting to move the photos and music from a SD card to the phone? Is the card one what was used in a different phone? If so, it may be formatted differently. Your best bet, if you still have access to it, would be to place the card back in the original device, then copy it all either to a cloud account or a computer. Then download it to the new phone from the cloud account or computer.

If you no longer have the old device, and the new phone won't read the cards info, then you can try plugging the card directly into a computer (if you have the option on that computer) and copy it to the computer first and then move it over to the new phone.

NOTE: Be very careful about inserting the SD card into any device and just trying to view it. The device (phone, tablet, computer, etc.,) may well try to format the SD card and if it does, everything on it will be gone. So do not allow any device to format the card until you have moved the items off of it.
