How does my opteka 650-1300mm lens connect to my Nikon D3200?

Just wanted to know how and what I need. It attaches to my Nikon D3200 with the t mount that I bought, but for some reason, it won’t read the lens

You might be able to set your camera to F8.0 and have it automatically adjust the shutter speed. OR you may have to use full manual mode with F8.0 and manually adjust the shutter speed to get a correct exposure.

What are you expecting it to "read"? F-Stop? EVERYTHING about that lens is going to be manual.

Additionally, don't expect stellar results with that lens.

Can really be used only in broad daylight, and only on a good tripod.
