How long would the MSI GP70 last?

I just want to check how long this laptop would last for a gaming purpose. SO, for how many years would it be able to handle games on a medium or high setting?

And, how long would the battery last?

it partially depends at what games you will be playing but most likely some new tecnologies and powerful gpus will come out to handle 2k and 4k which will make games advance much faster but if its things like minecraft or call of duty you will be good for a few years
