How many laptop do I need to use Elgato hd 60

How many laptop do you actually need to use Elgato he 60? I heard people saying that having 2 laptop will help improve the quality but will 1 laptop do the job if that one laptop exceed the requirements?

You just need one system to run it. For two they may be talking about having a dedicated system to run the video capture so your are not slowing down the main computer.
