How much is this Alienware worth?! Plz help

Hey guys I’m about to buy a used Alienware laptop from late 2012 I just want to make sure I’m not over paying for it.

Specs:
Model: M17X R4 (late 2012)
CPU: i7 2.6GHz
GPU: GeForce GRX 650m
RAM: 6Gb DDR3 (maybe DDR4 not sure)
HDD: 750GB
OS: windows 10

Thanks again guys for the help. I know Alienware computers hold their value pretty well but I don’t want to over pay I got them talked down to $470 please let me know if that’s too much.

A quick Google search says the 1012 M17X R4 laptops are still going for 1,000+ on eBay. Getting it for 470 is a steal.

So long as everything is still working as it should be, you're basically stealing their laptop and the shirt off their back.

Probably too late, but I would be against buying it. You might be able to pick up a brand new light gaming laptop with similar performance.

Laptops with GPUs like the GT1030 would be comparable.

Now if you just want the bulk and quality of an Alienware, I can see that.
