How to Change the Visibility of a LinkedIn Profile

While using LinkedIn, there may be times - like when looking for a job - that you don't want others to see changes you make to your profile. To respect your privacy, LinkedIn allows you to hide your public profile from everyone without removing any content or deleting your entire profile altogether.

With the ability to hide your public profile, you can make appropriate adjustments while remaining hidden from profile visitors. Once you are done with the editing, or when you are ready, you can make your public profile visible to everyone.

Changing the visibility of your LinkedIn profile just the matter of a few clicks. Here is how:

■Log on to your computer system.
■Open your favorite web browser. (E.g. Google chrome in this demonstration)
■Type www.linkedin.com in the address bar, and press Enter to open the website.
■On the Sign In window, provide your login credentials in the appropriate fields, and click the Sign In button.
