Solved! How to connect acer aspire 4935 to lcd tv

can u tell me how to connect my aspire 4935 to my toshiba lcd tv as my aspire only have a vga port and no hdmi port

I take it that the tv doesn't have a VGA port? If that is a case, you'll need a VGA to HDMI adapter to rig from your laptop to the TV.

The LCD TV do have both VGA and HDMI port.If by using an adapter from my laptop's vga port and connecting to the LCD TV's HDMI port,will I get an HDMI picture on the TV screen and what about the sound,do i have to get another adapter for it?
