I want to use laptop but use the dish tv screen to view what I'm doing on laptop such as facebook

There are 2 ways on how to connect a laptop into a TV or a monitor.

First is by using a cable (HDMI, VGA or DVI). Once you've connected the TV to your laptop, press the Windows key + P at the same time and select Duplicate display then press Enter.
