how to connect my vcr to samsung smart led tv using an rf moderator

I have tried unsuccessfully for the past 2 weeks trying to get my vcr to record and play. I was advised to buy an RF moderator when I purchased Samsung6360 Smart Led tv so I can connect my disc player, laser disc player and vcr. However only my disc player and laser disc player is working fine through the RF moderator but not the vcr. Can someone please help me!

What outputs does your VCR have? Does it only have an RF out or does it have composite video (red/white/yellow)? If it's the latter, you should be using the composite. As for your LD and BD players, I would imagine them having component video at the very least (dedicated video only - no sound - red/green/blue).

If possible, take some pictures of the back panels of your equipment and put them here.
