How do you connect a Toshiba remote to the sound bar?

The only ways that could work is
1. If the soundbar is connected to the TV with the HDMI-ARC connection. You would make sure that CEC and ARC are turned on in the TV menu.
2. The soundbar is also a Toshiba and has the same IR volume commands.
3. The Toshiba remote was a universal one and had the IR code for the soundbar.
