Solved! How to connect stereo output on a 5.1 channel system?

I want to connect my phone to my 5.1 home theater through Aux to RCA cable (3.5mm to 2 RCA). But most of my 5 speakers are not playing. I tried different input and output slots, but every time any 2 of them only play.. __ Help needed. Thanks.

Step one is make sure you have the right cable connections. If you're running old analog to channel audio outputs - from these source devices. It's time to replace them and use either HDMI Toslink.
