how to connect to internet without wifi

I don't have wifi and would like to connect to the internet using a cable connection I have a p28f 3531 labtop.

Unfortunately your laptop, Dell Insprion 15 3531 does not have a dedicated network card that allows direct Ethernet Cable Connections. The only way you will be able to connect wired is to use a USB Ethernet Adapter such as a Tek Republic TUN-300.

there's plenty of tiny usb-based wifi adapters. buy the tiniest one that's barely going to stick out of the port. $15 at most.
