Kill switch would not work on my Windows 10 Pro ThinkPad. I can use the command you published at the admin Command Prompt and it works fine to disable my Ethernet. Then the enable shortcut will work to restore Ethernet but the disable shortcut will not work. I do have Admin checked on both shortcuts.

I got it working by coping and pasting the command line for the "Restore" into both targets for the Kill Switch and the Reconnect. In my case I used the Interface name of Ethernet in both and the admin = to disabled in the Kill Switch and the admin = enabled for the Reconnect. When I copied the lines from the Kill Switch article into Word and blew the font size up very large I found that the double quotes around "XXXX" was different. Using the line for the Reconnect works. Using the line for the Kill Switch does not work. There's a problem with the double quote character around the "XXXX".
