how to delete a message

i have the a51 and i have metro for my service number is under the wife's plan. anyway yesterday i got a message from my own number and i can't delete it. it is not the phone handset icon it is the 2 0 with the line at the bottom connecting them. and it says new voice mail 2-20-26 and it did have my number but i went into the settings and tried to delete that number and then *86 came up and it will not delete.

if i tap that message it goes to the keypad and starts dialing my number and after a bit i hear the busy signal. so is there a way to get that gone? i tried going to metros site and of course they do not have a contact us via email and the chat is not working at this time. thanks

oh so i had the wife call me and she left a voice mail and now i can't access that so something is going on. i guess it is time to visit metro and get it fixed. unless someone has a fix i can do? the wife said she heard my voice mail please a message and the she left one and i did not get it. i got the phone icon as the missed call but when i tap that message it automatically dials the missed number. so some how it is now to taking me to my voice mails.

Maybe just ask them to reset your voicemail box (if not something you can do from logging into your account from another device, like a PC).

i tried to and there is no way on there site under my plan to delete it that i see. so i guess i need to visit a store. i do not use the phone much but for mostly emergency but if the wife has to contact me and leave a message like she did today and then i do not see that message i will never know she tried to contact me.

yes it fails. now i have the *86 as my voice mail and when i tap that it goes to the keypad and then disconnects. i did not see anything on the metro site that lets me change the pin or the number. my phone let me change from my phone number to that *86 number. i wonder it t-mo will help me being they are the parant company? we are close to there store. and maybe 5 miles form the metro store.. i guess i can try. thanks
