How to Disable Google Maps "Location Tracking" on iPhone

Do you know that Google is tracking you? Yes, Google is tracking you through the location services on your phone. It provides you with great, relevant information, but it's also kind of creepy. If you don’t want to be tracked by Google, turn off the tracking location service. It will be helpful for your phone's battery life as well as your peace of mind. Here we will discuss the process of turning off the Google location service for iPhone. There are two ways to do it:

Steps:
1st method:
This method is for turning off the service from the main Settings of your phone.
1. Go to settings from the app list
2. Tap on Privacy, if you don’t see this option you have to scroll down.

4. To disable Google Maps location tracking swipe the slider to off next to the name.

5. To disable all the apps just swipe the slider beside the option location services to off.

2nd method:
This method is for turning off from Google Maps itself.
1. Start the Google Maps app.
2. Drag the tab to open the menu from bottom
3. Tap on “Settings” from the options.
4. Tap on “Location History”, if you don’t find the option you have to scroll down.
5. Then Tap on “Location History” again.
6. Check the blank box next to “Do not store” option then Tap on the back arrow.
7. Tap on “Location Reporting” from the options.
8. Checkmark the blank box next to “Do not report.” The location tracking will be turned off.
