How to fix a laptop screen thats is lit up but all black

one day i shut down my computer and turned it back on and now the screen is all black

check the physical connections, then replace the screen.

I had this happen. Was like aww f... a 3 month laptop and I already butchered it ? Unplug it pull out the battery and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Put it back in and restart.
