How to fix acer aspire 7551 black screen

Check the cables connections, if they are fine, try to connect the laptop with external monitor and see if it`s work.

Hello, I'm having the exact same problem and I've already done as you suggested with no effect. I'm currently attempting to "flash" my BIOS, whatever that means, with about as much success. Any other Ideas? I have an Acer 7551-3650.

I read on another site about attempting to flash this thing, basically what it said to do was download a specific bios, rename two of the files, put them both on a USB, put the USB in a specific port, and start my laptop while holding two keys until "the power LED starts flashing". I have done this multiple times and not a single LED flashes. After it starts flashing I'm supposed to hit the power button once and bang, my laptop can walk again. Any other ideas or, perhaps, clarification on the somewhat vague instructions?
