How to fix green pixel stuck on the screen.

I've just noticed like a couple of days ago that there is a green pixel stuck on the screen. At first I hardly even notice but now that I did it won't stop bothering me since then. I haven't done anything that would cause this issue such as messing with the screen but I did leave it all the time but that can't be the reason because because I leave my laptop on almost all the time on my old laptop and the screen is still in perfect condition. Do you know why this is happening so that I could tell my dad what's wrong with it because I think he doesn't know either?

dying pixel can't be fixed, you can replace the screen, that's your only option

How could I tell if a pixel is dead?

Ignorance is bliss. Once you see it you can not un-see it. People have said gently, and I mean really gently as not to scratch you screen, rub the pixel with some amount of pressure applied have sometimes (ONLY somtimes) fixed the dead pixel. And if it is just a stuck pixel, you can try this:
