How to Fix Malfunctioning Lid Switch

I have an issue with my MSI GP60 laptop, the hinges broke and along with them so did the lid switch. Whenever I attempt to use my computer, the monitor will shut off randomly while still open, and must be manually turned back on (such as via Win + P), and this action can be stimulated by applying pressure to the laptop. However, I am unable to locate the lid switch anywhere inside my computer, and have already spent a good amount of time examining the motherboard in search of said lid switch. I have also already set my computer to perform no action when closing the lid through the control panel. If anyone knows of any registry edits I could do to stop the laptop from shutting the monitor off when closed or how to locate the lid switch on this model of laptop, it would be much appreciated.

The lid switch could be in the lid, and the magnet in the keyboard deck. I know, that doesn't solve your problem.
