Solved! How to fix toshiba m45 power fix

my toshiba m45 s359 how do i know if my battery is completly dead or is my power port is bad in my lap top cause soon as the power comes loose from laptop it shuts off so is it the battery or port?

Have you checked to see if the battery is charging? It sounds like it is the battery because it isn't getting power after the AC cord is removed though.
