how to fix vertical lines in my screen

Can sombody tell me how to fix lines in my pc screen. I would thanks in advance.

Where are they appearing - and it is only during specific applications, or all the time?

Make sure VGA/DVI/HDMI whatever cable is all the way in and the cable is in good condition. It can also be a bad GPU.
