How to get and use revives in Pokemon Go
If you are battling to take over gyms, you are probably going to end up with some of your pokemon being knocked out. So where do you get these revives to bring them back, and how do you use them?
Step 1)Have a pokemon knocked out.
In order to use one of these revives, you are going to need to have a pokemon knocked out in the first place. Attacking a gym, either to capture it or to level up it's prestige if it is your own team's gym, can result in a pokemon being knocked out by it's HP pool reaching zero.
Step 2)Use a revive.
You'll need a revive to bring the pokemon's health back up. You can use this by tapping on the pokeball on the main screen, and then selecting the items option. Find the revives in the list and when you tap on them they will show you all knocked out pokemon you can use them on. Simply tap on the pokemon you want to revive and you will restore 50% of it's max HP.
Step 3)Where to get revives.
So where do you get these things to bring your pokemon back to life? Every time you level up after level 5 you will receive at least three of them. As well as this, you can collect them from visiting pokestops. So if you are out of revives and have a bunch of pokemon to bring back, get out there and hit up a bunch of pokestops and you should be able to heal them up in no time.
