Hi,

I recently bought a Phillips TV (specs page) and this LG Home Theatre (specs page).

I'd like to be able to have the Home Theatre speakers play Audio from TV (and everything connected to it, such as Console, Satellite, etc).

In terms of connectivity, the TV has this Output options: 1) Digital audio out (coaxial) & 2) Headphone Out

And the Home Theatre has these Input options: 1) AUX (L/R) Input, Optical Input

My question is, what equipment will I need to be able to send Audio output from TV to the speakers of the Home Theatre system, using the current connectivity options?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the links.
You need an coax digital to optical audio converter.

These only work in one direction so you have to get the correct one.
You also need a coax digital audio cable (single RCA-RCA cable - most RCA video cables will work here) and a Toslink optical audio cable.
You may have to turn the output on, the internal speakers off, and change the output type in the TV audio menu to get it to work.
