Solved! How to have pure black background wallpaper

Someone please post instructions for Android phones with AMOLED screens to use pure black wallpaper backgrounds.

You just need to get yourself an image file that is of the right size and type, save it on the phone and then make it your wallpaper.

You can make it yourself with any paint program on a computer or even a paint app for a phone.
