I have a older tv which is a floor model Toshiba tv can somebody tell me what do I put the tv on to show the picture

I believe you are asking about either the TV's configuration screens and/or the necessary cable connections.

Assuming that your model of Genie only has HDMI output you will need an active HDMI to component or composite video plus analog audio converter. Use component video if your TV has that for a better picture.
Or get a Genie that already has these outputs from DTV. Some do.
