how to hook up xenyx502 to hp laptop with one jack

i just brought a brand new hp computer I want to use for recording I'm trying to hook up my xenyx502 but only have one jack on computer how do I go about hooking it up

Well you have a few options.

Option 1. Get a splitter for the jack you have. If that will fix it. Many computers anymore have a single jack that in is output only. Now.

Option 2. Get an adapter so you can connect via USB and still use the same device.

Option 3. Get an adapter/splitter combo so you can connect via USB and use more than one connection off it.
