How to import photos from iphone to macbook air?

I want to import photos from my iphone to my macbook air but there is no connection between the two.

If you want a wireless solution, iCloud is probably your best bet. Alternatively, you can connect your iPhone to your Macbook via USB (or whatever the hell it is Apple uses these days) and import it through iTunes.
