Solved! How to install ethernet driver on HP laptop

Hello,
i recently bought a HP laptop
DM3-1011tu
and i cant seem to connect to the net via the ethernet cable

i can connect to it just fine via wireless

but it seems as tho the ethernet driver isnt installed
and i cannot find it anywhere on the net


help!

Go to HP's support site, i.e. type "HP drivers" into google and then select your specific model of laptop and it should direct you to where you can download the appropriate drivers for your machine.
